Progetto Fuoco opens a focus on the world of outdoor and garden in collaboration with AICG (Italian Association of Garden Centers) and with the presence of leading companies in the market.
Outdoor and garden will be at the center of the new edition of «Progetto Fuoco» (4-7 May 2022, fiera di Verona): in fact, thanks to an agreement signed with AICG (Italian Association of Garden Centers), 200 of the main Italian garden centers will be hosted by Progetto Fuoco to visit the event and find products to improve competitiveness in a market with strongly positive values.
Statistics released by Gfk and Greenretail and published by Il Sole 24ore show that sales in the outdoor sector in 2020 grew by 13% with peaks of +80% in some months, those related to the lockdown and with further double-digit increases in 2021. More and more Garden Centers are giving visibility and space to barbecues, ovens and outdoor kitchens, but also pellets, wood and stoves are starting to gain visibility and interest among customers
“We wanted to give visibility to a fast-growing sector – says Raul Barbieri, general manager of Piemmeti, the Veronafiere company that organizes Progetto Fuoco – a sector in which the companies of Progetto Fuoco can be absolute protagonists. At Progetto Fuoco, garden centers will be able to find the best companies in the world of barbecues such as Weber, Napoleon, Ofyr and Broil King, Palazzetti’s outdoor kitchens rather than ovens by Fontana, Clementi and RossoFuoco. More and more in fact, it is a source of great fascination to use all those tools and equipment that allow you to cook, especially in company, in your own pergolas and gardens.”
HEATING WITH WOODY BIOFUELS
A great economic opportunity for nurseries, greenhouses and Garden Center surfaces, and more generally for agricultural enterprises, comes from the possibility of heating through wood, pellet or woodchip plants or, very often, with cogeneration systems, that is the joint use of different forms of energy production (e.g. biomass and electricity).
This will be discussed in a workshop entitled “Biomass for the climate control of nurseries and garden centers. Economic advantages, incentives and real cases” scheduled for Wednesday (2.30 pm) dedicated to Garden Centers, organized by Progetto Fuoco and AIEL in collaboration with AICG (Italian Association of Garden Centers).
We wait for you in Verona!
